On Sunday (August 1) evening, her mother said, ‘I sent my daughter to fetch water from the crematorium. Which is a few meters away from the booth where they live. After an hour, he did not return, so I went out to look for him. Then I saw him lying in the crematorium. I saw her lips blue, blood clots under her nose, scars on her hands and arms, her clothes were wet. ‘ At that time, the priest forbade him to call the police. The mother of the child said that they wanted to dissect her and sell it. The father of the child reached there with 150 villagers. Most of the child’s body was then burnt. A senior police official said a case of gang rape, murder and arson had been registered based on information received from parents.
